Well, let's start with Welcome Back!
Monday is it, hope everyone has the classes they want and are ready to go.
A few things to note....
SAID officer elections will be Wednesday, September 8 from 12:30-1:00pm. All future meetings will be held on Thursdays. The dates are posted in the display case...come take a look.
Also posted is a competition project by two recent OCC ID Level 3 graduates, Marie Peck & Sevanna Gilpin. They designed an entire house, LEED Platinum from the ground up with a budget of $100K. You can see their entry right here:

So new on campus...the Student Center is under construction:
If you're looking for food, the Student Center or ASOCC office, there is a new little village of portables behind the Computer Center between the Lit&Lang building and Watson Hall:
And we'll say HELLO! to our beautiful new building, studio, computer lab, classrooms, etc. designed by LPA. (That's our new studio on the 2nd floor, far left side...you can get a great view of it from the Merrimac parking lot)

And I'm sure we're all super excited for the ABC complex to be complete and ready for Spring classes!! We'll say goodbye to the many years and memories made in the lab of our great Neutra building:
